I just love kangarooing on my daddy's chest. It's sooo warm and cuddly! (today I weighed 2lb 14oz)
Sometimes before going to sleep for the night, I would feel especially playful... besides, it's always hard to fall asleep when I know my parents are still near me. Here I am holding my daddy's finger.
Of course, before I go to sleep, my diaper absolutely must be changed! Here's a picture only a grandmother could love! My abuelita Tina even wanted to take one of my poopy diapers home with her!
Finally, after playing and having my diaper changed, I was able to go to sleep... but not until I snuck one more peek in!
Remember the orange tube I used to have in my mouth? This week, my nurse took the tube out of my mouth and stuck it up my nose... all the way to my tummy. She did this so I could get better at breast feeding, without the tube in the way, I could get a better seal and get more milk. My parents managed to get a few pictures of me with no feeding tube at all.
One of my mommy's friends found the cutest clothes for "micro-preemies", babies up to 2.5 pounds, but since I was close to 3lbs., my belly was busting out.
I guess my daddy thinks I have cute ears or something...
